What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a holistic health approach that looks at the person’s whole health picture, by taking a thorough case history, looking at diet, lifestyle and physical examinations. With the help of herbal and nutritional remedies, coupled with dietary and lifestyle recommendations the body can be supported back to health and wellness.
Also known as the second brain, the gut is found to effect the whole body systems. Supporting digestion, absorption and the gut barrier integrity is a fundamental step to health.
Constant exposure to toxins from our diet, environment and lifestyles can overwhelm the body’s detoxification capacity resulting in an array of symptoms . Supporting the detoxification systems, is one primary focus of holistic health and wellness.
Many women experience reproductive system health issues from period pain, PMS, menopausal symptoms, and a list of others. Using diet, lifestyle, nutritional and herbal support can help address the underlying issues that contribute to female reproductive system health.
Nervous System Health
Sleep, Energy, Mood and Stress are all areas in health that we all have required support at some point in time. Various factors come in to play and the focus of treatment would be individualised to address the underlying issue resulting in the disruption of these areas.
